These syringes consist of a polyethylene plunger and polypropylene barrel, are latex and silicone-free, require no lubrication and are an inexpensive alternative to the common three piece design. They are available in 3, 5 and 10 ml sizes with a graduated scale and a clear barrel. Male luer slip tip syringes accommodating female luer hubs are available in 3 and 5 ml. The 10 ml eccentric tip syringe allows for easier dispensing when the syringe is placed in a parallel orientation to the injection site.
