Both polycarbonate valves accept up to 9 French and feature a male luer spin lock to minimize tubing kinks when connecting. The silicone gasket creates a seal for secure positioning when closed and prevents the backflow of fluids. Part #88420 features an 19 mm OD wide cap design for ease of handling and #88421 has a 13 mm OD cap if preferred. The selection of Hemostasis Valves continues to grow at Qosina. Qosina now has two new one-handed hemostasis valves. Part #80328 accepts up to 7 French and part #80329 accepts up to 9 French. Made of polycarbonate and silicone, they both feature a push-pull mechanism allowing a single-handed process to open and close the valve. However, part #80329 can also be closed the traditional way by turning the cap 2 times to seal. Once it is sealed in this manner, the valve has a lock feature, where it cannot be re-opened via the push-pull method. This provides the valve with an additional way for securing its position.
